Helping others is not only beneficial for those who are helped, but also gives happiness to those who help. Helping others is one way to expand social networks and strengthen relationships with others.
As of 2024, MSDCI National is also a non-profit organization overseen by our Board of Directors. This board comprises our founder, Zainub Dhanani, and two disability advocates who have supported MSDCI National throughout its development: Dr. Poullos from Stanford and Dr. Meeks from the University of Michigan and continues to grow. If you are interested in serving as part of our nonprofit board of directors, please send us a message here.
MSDCI National is a continuously expanding organization. Since our inception in 2019, our leadership board has grown from five students to a 25-person leadership board. The addition of more leaders from within our community, who bring their personal experiences and expertise, enables us to continue serving and supporting fellow medical students with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
